What is C++?

C++ is a general-purpose programming language created by Bjarne Stroustrup in 1979 as an extension of C with object-oriented features. C++ is used for: game development (Unreal Engine), system software, browsers (Chrome V8 engine), databases (MySQL), high-frequency trading, and competitive programming.
